25|8 is a mobile app and web service that lets business owners publish and manage a live public page for their business. These terms govern your use of the app at at258.app and the 25|8 iOS app.
Your 25|8 identity is a cryptographic keypair generated on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device and your identity key secure. If you export a backup (the encrypted recovery file), you are responsible for the passphrase. We cannot recover your identity if you lose access to your key — there is no password reset, by design.
You own everything you publish through 25|8 — your business name, menu, hours, photos, location, updates, and event appearances. You grant 25|8 a license to host and display this content on your public page and through the visitor surface. This license ends when you remove the content or ask us to delete your data.
Module purchases and assist packs are one-time payments processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple's terms govern the transaction. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by Apple's refund policy or applicable law. If a purchased module's capability is exhausted (e.g., an assist pack runs out), your prior work remains live — we do not delete content when a purchase is consumed.
Do not use 25|8 to publish content that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful. Do not misrepresent your business identity. Do not attempt to forge signatures or impersonate another owner. We may freeze or remove a business page that violates these terms.
If your page is frozen for any reason — a terms violation, a billing issue, or a future infrastructure fee — it freezes in its last published state. It does not disappear. Visitors can still see it. We do not use data deletion as a penalty.
Visitors to your page are identified by a random token stored in a browser cookie. We do not collect visitor names, emails, or personal information. Connection events (QR scans, NFC taps, page saves) are attributed to the anonymous visitor token for your loyalty features.
The Regulars feature delivers Apple Wallet passes to visitors who follow your business. These passes are governed by Apple's Wallet terms. Push notifications through wallet passes are limited by Apple's infrastructure (maximum 3 per day per pass).
25|8 runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime, data loss due to infrastructure failures, or service disruptions beyond our control.
25|8 is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost data beyond what our infrastructure backups cover, or any indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States.
